 Oluwapelumi Olabode Akinola (born 26 May 2002), known professionally as Yoruba boy is a young Nigerian hip hop recording artist.He records in Yoruba and English. He is the third of the five children of Pa Akinola(late) and his wife, Abiodun Akinola.[1] Pelumi has four siblings and is related maternally to the DMW signee “Peruzzi”. Pelumi started his career when he released the debut single, "Tempted," in 2021. In the same year, he is nominated as Best sound recording artist at “The Top Naija Music Awards” He is currently studying Agricultural Technology in Yaba college of Technology (Epe Campus).[3] Pelumi has released other tracks like “Favorite person” and “Vodka”(ft Gracey) and therefore hoping to get a nice record deal to pursue greater heights on his chosen career.
